73 MIller Street
Originally built in 1990, 73 Miller Street had provided grade-B office spaces to North Sydney for more than 20 years. Due for a major refurbishment, the facade has been designed to be cladded in unitised curtain wall panels with a distinctive horizontal feature built into the spandrel area to cover up the floor slab as well as provide the visual of uniform horizontal lines. Fabricating this system has been a challenge due to the 'wing' panels extending past the floor slabs, and the curved panels with the curved features being difficult to assemble and control. The final results are stunning and 73 Miller Street has been transformed into a modern building with an iconic aesthetic.
